Peter Hill-Wood the chairman of Arsenal FC is sure that Arsenal Captain Cesc Fabregas is not going to leave Gunners coming summer, it has been agreed upon by Barcelona counterpart, that they we not make any attempt to re-sign the midfielder Cesc Fabregas again in the summer. As Barcelona has been making regular attempts to sign Fabregas back to his boyhood club.

“There was a private conversation in the boardroom and assurances have been made at the highest level, Arsenal does not expect those to be broken. They said they are not interested this summer”, Hill-Wood told ESPN Soccernet.

According to Hill-Wood, a conversation had taken place recently as the two clubs ‘meet in Champions League on 6th April, Arsenal has wanted to end the speculation over the player’s future in England.

“Subsequent to the conversation, if they are interested at any time in the future, they would come to us direct,” added Hill-Wood. However I’m not sure they are going to do that, because they told us they are pretty happy with what they have got and are pretty happy with their current players.”
