Men’s tennis ranking as at September 14, 2009

According to the lastest tennis ranking after the Grand slam at the US Open, Roger Federer 11240.00 is still the world number one tennis players, following by Rafael Nadal with 8845.0 point and the third layers is Andy Murray with 8395.0 point.

Andy Murray has fallen one place in the world rankings to third after being overtaken by Rafael Nadal following the results at the US Open Grand slam. Murray was beaten by Marin Cilic in the fourth round at Flushing Meadows, while Nadal reached the semi-finals. The Spaniard was knocked out by Argentina’s Juan Martin del Potro, who went on to win his first Grand slam.

Nadal regained his world number two spot, behind beaten finalist Roger Federer. Del Potro moved up one place to fifth in the rankings after his victory against Federer. Below is the full table ranking by ATP 2009
